The South Plains College EMS Training Program will be sponsoring a hybrid AEMT course beginning August 2, 2021. The course will be live via Zoom for the classroom lectures. The skills labs will be in-person on the Reese Campus. The class will be primarily on Monday and Thursday evenings from 1800-2200. There will be one Wednesday morning class for orientation and one Tuesday night class for the final written exam. The classroom portion will run until December 16 with all clinicals due by the end of February, 2022.  This class has been approved by DSHS.

This class does not require full registration into SPC as it is administered through the SPC Continuing Education Program.

Students will be able to attend the lectures from anywhere via Zoom. Again, the lectures will be live with students able to interact with each other as well as the instructor. The student will be required to furnish an appropriate computer with audio and camera capabilities. SPC has used this format several times over the last couple of years and it has proven to be very successful.

Spots are limited.
