Educational Opportunities
Castro County EMS will be starting an EMT-Basic course on August 8, 2019. The course will include some preset Saturday courses and the course ending date will be December 5th, 2019. Course will be held at Plains Memorial Hospital in Dimmitt. Tuition will be $450. If interested, please call Shawn Wheat at 806-647-8734.
The August 22-23, 2019 registration is now open. Our Regional Advisory Council (RAC) will pay slots for all hospitals/agencies in TSA-B for the August class!

Two deadlines:
· If you plan to use a RAC slot, please complete the attached form and email it to by Monday, July 22, 2019
· If you are paying for the course the registrations and fee must be postmarked by Saturday, July 20, 2019
· We apologize for the quick deadline, but this is the first new TNCC course and we just received some of the information we needed.

New important information:
We must have an accurate email for the participant at time of registration.
Please inform participants they will receive an email from ENA and their book with instructions 3-4 weeks prior to class and to open them immediately. THEY MUST REGISTER WITH ENA AND COMPLETE ONLINE MODULES BY 3 DAYS PRIOR TO THE CLASS.
Participants need to contact us if they haven’t received the email or book 3 weeks prior to class.
Substitutions are welcome if new participant can get book at least 3 weeks prior to course AND you’ve notified the Course Director 3 weeks prior to course (NO SUBSTITUTIONS AFTER 3 WEEKS PRIOR TO COURSE).
Refunds are subject to a $75.00 administrative fee. No refunds will be given within 10 days of the course date AND YOUR HOSPITAL WILL BE BILLED FOR THIS FEE.

There will be an Advanced EMT (AEMT) course in Plainview beginning on Thursday, September 12, 2019. The class will meet Monday & Thursday evenings from 6 PM to 10 PM with a few Saturday classes, and will run until February 22, 2020 with breaks for Thanksgiving and the Christmas Holidays.
