AEMT (EMT-Intermediate)

Associated Ambulance in Clarendon will be starting an AEMT class October 30, 2017 with the final classroom date being March 3, 2018. 
Classes will be Monday and Wednesday 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM, and one Saturday a month at the ambulance station in Clarendon. 
We are waiting on a reply from TEEX for funding, so as far as cost, that is yet to be determined. 
Students must be a Texas certified EMT Basic prior to clinicals, pass a background check, and random drug screen.

Applications will NOT be processed until all prerequisites have been UPLOADED to their transcript. 

Although you can enroll in the Advanced ICS class at the same time as you enroll in the Intermediate class, if they are back to back classes. These courses are the following:

G-300 Intermediate ICS for Expanding Incidents (
IS-700.a National Incident Management System (NIMS), An Introduction
IS-800.b National Response Framework (NRF) , An Introduction 


No tuition is charged.
This Course is considered Local and TDEM will not pay any stipends to attend this course.
